The magazine Symbios with a cover image of an expert in circular economy.
Project overview
Econova is a soil and gardening producer active within the field of re-cycling. The objectives was to explain Econova's part within “circular economy” to other potiential buisness partners. I was asked to present a soft side of circular economy, and make a introductory magazine that would inspire the reader.
Design solutions
To make the subject accessible to the readers, I created a light and varied design with short articles. Complex economical models were presented as infographics or still lifes. The typography was soft with the addition of the swirling font “Line” to the company’s existing brand fonts. The imagery was human centered and any photos with an atmospere of “heavy industry” was avoided. Peoples postitive experiences of working in the re-cycling industry were to be uplifted.
Outcome
The company was very pleased with the product and came back for an update a year later.
